Clemson Tigers

I will readily admit that I have a Love/Hate relationship with the Clemson Tigers. It seems to me that every year, they come right out of the gates and win a lot of football games, only to go on a losing streak at the end of the season. Just once, I would love the Tigers to finish the season strong and make it to a major BCS or CFP bowl scenario. They don't wear the Purple uniforms very often, but it's one of my favorite combos in college football.

The natural rivalry that they have had with the South Carolina Gamecocks is one of the best in the country and the matchups always seem to get a bit testy. The iconic nickname for their stadium is "Death Valley" and carries such an ominous distinction. Clemson has strong competition from Florida State, South Carolina and Georgia Tech are main rivals.
